28 Achieving and Publishing New Insights Forschungszentrum Jülich has a new central reference systems for the research findings it has published: JuSER (Jülich Shared Electronic Services). Jülich’s Central Library developed the system in a cooperation with other institutions. It unites the former database of scientific publications by Forschungszentrum Jülich employees (VDB) and the open-access repository JUWEL. JuSER opens up new options for cooperation between scientists. They can now easily exchange their own manuscripts as well as publications of others, comment on either, and make them available to a group of colleagues.
