Budget In 2011, Forschungszentrum Jülich’s third-party funding to- talled € 160.2 million, representing an increase of € 15.0 mil- lion compared to 2010 (€ 145.2 million). The increase in interna- tional funding is primarily a result of new projects funded by the European Union. National project funding and DFG funding were at the usual level for the financial year of 2011. Third-party revenues from contracts and project management organizations did not change significantly in comparison to the previous years. phalia. Third-party funding also included subsidies of € 19.4 million which were passed on to the Institut Laue-Langevin in the form of pay- ments to cover operating costs. Institutional funding, includ- ing grants for dismantling, totalled € 512.7 million in 2011.
